Standing Ovation Please!

There are little moments in your life that you sometimes wish you could live over. Not to say that it is because of regret and that you wish you could do things differently, but to be able to relive the moment for enjoyment purposes only. Moments such as your first kiss(notably the obvious), scrubbing the toilet with your sister's toothbrush, you know...whatever. Well, I work at a high end apparel retailer and tonight I was able to experience one of those moments. So...two gentlemen walked into the store. One of the guys, a surprisingly short kind of stalky guy covered in tats, wanted to purchase these fabulous boots that we just got into the store. As I brought the boots out of the box I had asked if he would like a pair of trouser socks to try them on with. Apparently he did not hear me, and soon followed with a "Baby, can you get me a pair of sock please."(Of course not a direct quote for legal purposes) When I returned with a pair of socks he then presumed to ask if I would please put them on for him. "Baby, can you put these socks on for me." Any sane person I think would decline this offer especially if they knew what my pay check looks like. So I did. I told him, "No I don't think so" and gave him a little smile and took a couple of steps back. He looked at his friend, looked back at me and said, "You mean you aren't going to help me out here?" (again these are not direct quotes...lol. I apologized real softly, gave a sweet smile, and didn't budge from my safe distance between us. I gave him one of the boots only after removing the paper fillings, and left the lacing for him to handle. "Man baby, you can't help with anything?", he said. While all of this is going on I am trying of course to make casual conversation and luckily for me the hot topic on the agenda for today has been customers purchasing for the VMA's. So I asked these two guys if they would be attending. They gave each other odd looks and then said yes. Later when I was checking the guy wanting the boots out, I asked if he was up for any awards. He said yes, or so he thinks. The conversation concluded with me telling him good luck and that I would watch the VMA's to see if he won. Long story short, I'm completely clueless. As I said before, fortunately enough for me the VMA's is a hot topic of conversations right now otherwise I may have been completely hopeless. After the guys left, my colleague advised me that I had just attended to Cee-lo. I said, "Who, you mean Thomas Callaway?". He said, "No Cee-lo also known as Gnarles Barkley."

Amazing Little Search Engine that Could

Hello ladies,
I just wanted to inform you of a great little blog page that does wonders for your lonely mail boxes.

http://babysgotbubblegum.blogspot.com/

My sister created this blog page in order to help women get the things they need and want for discounted prices. She researches different companies that willingly give out samples and coupons. I have tried it and it works! She has signed me up with so many different companies that my mailbox has a little surprise in it waiting for me at the end of a long day at work. I have received food samples which are desperately needed for surviving the life after college mode, as well as tampons(yay!), and cleansing products that I hear work best if used daily. Go figure?! So ladies be sure to check it out, and feel free to post any questions or comments!!

PS There is a link to her site under my blog list!!
